The AWS-8430 Makes the Grade
An all-in-one "Slim Type" workstation with 12.1" LCD display

Enhanced with a 12" Industrial grade 200cd/m2 TFT LCD display and slim depth design (just 9"/220mm), the new AWS-8430 from Advantech offers customers a space-saving choice for the factory floor or a 19" rack. The 9" depth provides relief for wiring and cabling behind the workstation cabinet. In addition, the 12" TFT high brightness LCD screen gives viewers and programmers 30% more display area, compared to older 10" displays.

Rugged contstuction, flexible operation
Along with these benefits, the new AWS-8430 also features NEMA4/IP65 front protection. This effectively prevents the intrusion of performance-hindering dust, oil and water vapor that commercial PCs inevitably encounter. An 8-slot expansion backplane gives users flexibility to connect different I/O or other cards in order to run their critical system. By also providing the alternatives of 48VDC and 24VDC power supply, the AWS-8430 meets the demands for different transportation vehicles and telecommunications.

Adaptable Application
The AWS-8430 is an industrial workstation designed for applications with heavy or complex data presentation, such as power station monitoring, traffic control center, multi-purpose machine center or factory production operations like cement, steel, automobiles, and more.
